 | I drove 2920 miles in my trip from Corpus Cristi Texas to Milwaulkee Wisconsin and back (23 hours each way). I knew that I had good seats for the concert, but I didnt' realize that they were in the front row. The really sad part is that I had 2 tickets, but could not find any of my friends back in Illinois that wanted to go along. So I had 2 seats in the front row, one that I used, and one that sat empty for the whole concert. When the girls came out, it was great I believe that Renee recognized me as she waived and smiled several times to me. Stef even smiled to me and Stacy looked my way. Renee performed in front of me on the stage most of the time, They sang At Night I Pray, World Without You, and acapella Follow me, Talk to Me. At one point when they wanted everyone to get on their feet, Renee said everyone stand "like this gentleman", pointing to me. Even though it had been since October that I had last talked to them in person, when they were doing a concert for a radio channel 120 miles south of Corpus. I spoke with there manager as I had brought a tape for them and I introduced my self and he said that he had given it to the girls for me. Its a night that I wont soon forget. |
