I left home around 4am and did the 12 hour drive to Little Rock Arkansas. In the last 60 days this was going to be my third concert and the third state bringing my state total to 7. Once in Little Rock I got a call that stopped that all from happening. Stacy and Stefanie were going to arrive about an hour before the concert to host it. However it seemed that a few hours before as they were leaving Los Angeles the plane had some sort of problem and there was smoke in the cabin and the plane had to make an emergency landing. Once they were safely back on the ground there was no chance of getting another flight to make the concert in time. So I went to the concert and it started out with around 2000 people but with in a short time the crowd was estimated at over 10,000 people. There were several people that had made banners or shirts to support the girls. The radio station also handed out over 5 cases of tee shirts that had all the pictures of the other artists and Wild Orchid on them.

Stacy and Stef will arrive in Little Rock around 5:30pm, so they won't be at the show till 6:15-6:30.

I HAVE FOUND OUT THAT DUE TO AN ILLNESS, RENEE' WILL NOT BE COMING. SO WILD ORCHID (STACY & STEFANIE) WILL NOT PERFORM BUT WILL CO-HOST THE SHOW.

Familyfest 2001
Friday June 22 - Saturday June 23
Familyfest 2001 is a two-day regional musical festival with midway rides and games, a championship barbecue cook-off, food, drinks and fun!

The entertainment line up on Friday is Lionel Richie, Dexter Freebish, Billy Crawford, Amanda, Wild Orchid and O-Town. Saturday night's performers are the Jimmy Buffet Tribute band Parrothead, Runnin' on Empty, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Billy Yates, and John Anderson.

Familyfest takes place on the North Shore Riverwalk in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Estimated attendance is around 40,000 people! Activities start Friday from 3:00-10:00p and continue Saturday from 10:00-10:00p. Admission is $5 for a two-day ticket, with children 5 and under free! A percentage of the proceeds goes to The March of Dimes Foundation!
