Last year, some family members and I drove to San Diego to see them perform at Summer Music Mania 99. They were a no show. I informed the fan club and I was given a free tee shirt. Once again, thank you Terri. You're the best fan club prez! So I'm anxiously anticipating their next concert. The first time I heard Wild Orchid was on MTV. I was cleaning my room when "At Night I Pray" video came on. I stopped dead in my tracks. I was like, who are these girls? They blew me away! I bought their CD and became a fan club member all within a week. Their sound is like EnVogue Meets Wilson Phillips. Pure harmony! I call their music "So. Cal. Soul". I also refer to them as "Thunder,Lightning,Rain". Stefanie is Thunder because her vocal packs an emotional,powerful punch. Stacy is Lightning because her voice can literally shatter glass. Renee is Rain because her voice is so sweet amnd smooth. At last, it freaked me out to learn that Stacy and Renee were members of Kids Incorporated. I watched that show religiously when I was in junior high. A perfect show to watch when you're going through pre-teen adolescence. So that means Wild Orchid has positively influenced my life twice. She was kind of disappointed about there being two songs with very similar names out at the same time. I already looked on www.weekendtop30.com (Hollywood Hamiltion's website) and couldn't find anything about anyone from the group being there. Just wanted you guys to know about this. Comments: I just saw the Black Eyed Peas and Furgie tonight. The show was amazing much to the presence of Furgie. Furgie you are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my entire life.
