The show was suppose to start at 8pm. I got there at 6pm. They let us in the front of the building around 9pm. From there with all the heat and so
many crammed into the front of the building they made us wait another hour. When I was there
at 6pm they were doing a sound check and were still working on it at
10pm when they let us into the show. Apparently their was some sound problem, and the
crowd was booing everytime someone came on to the stage trying to get things ready. I was waiting for
a riot to break out as it was getting pretty bad. BEP finally came on around 10pm and while it was great to
see them and I enjoy their music, the sound problems didn't seem to be fixed. I could see the emotion Fergie was putting into the music, but it didn't
sound good to me. She is the best singer in music today as far as I'm concerned, but the sound from the mic was really bad. With the video here you can
hear the concert as I heard it. In the end its all about being their and showing my support for them and their music. I just wished the venue
would have had their act together and
had equipment that would have allowed us to really experience BEP as I have heard them in the past venues I have been at. From a visual or
an energy perspective the show was awesome, but unfortunately from a sound stand point it had to be one
of the worse concerts I have ever been to. It wasn't the bands fault, but the venues. I left around midnight before N.E.R.D. took the stage.
