BEP in Dallas/Grand Praire TX

Threw modern technology I can tell you that BEP just got off the stage less than 20 minutes ago. I went to the concert for Kiss 106.1 FM at Next Stage in Grand Prairie(Its between Dallas and Ft. Worth). I arrived at 5:45pm. I went to will call but no one had any information about my tickets. I stood around and heard about the problems with the station giving more vouchers for tickets away than there were actual tickets. The radio station gave out real tickets to contest winners, but each night gave out vouchers for free tickets where ever they were in the city. This morning anyone with a voucher could get in line and at 10am they gave tickets out for those vouchers. There were some 8000 tickets, but they only got threw about a 1/3 of the line this morning. So all these people with vouchers were unable to get tickets. Some people gave theirs up so that the younger crowd could see the concert. I worked my back to will call a few minutes before 7pm. There I noticed one of the crew from BEP and I approached him. He looked up and asked if I had gotten my tickets. I told him they didn't have them, and he said he personally gave them to will call. I went back to the window and passed my license and sure enough they were there. I opened the packet and inside were 2 tickets. I gave the spare to one of the people outside waiting to get in and then went threw the front doors. In side he made sure I had them, and I thanked him and headed in. The concert started a few minutes after I sat down.

BEP was the first act to take the stage at 8pm. They performed for about 25 minutes. The stories of Taboo being out of some shows in Europe do to an injury appear to have been true, as he wasn't on stage. The sang "Hands Up", "Hey Mama", "Labor Day", "Shut-Up", and then ended with "Where is the Love". They sounded great, and I always enjoy the reaction of people that have never heard Fergie sing live. No one can belt out the notes and hold them and keep them loud like she can. She was dressed in military green patterned pants, a black bra, and a black jacket. It was a great show. An update from the Houston show tomorrow will be posted here later.

A special thanks to those that helped with the tickets, I greatly appreciate it, considering the show sold out and there were many fans that were outside that didn't get a chance to see the show.
