BEP Trees Dallas, TX

Here is the ticket for the Dallas BEP show. I drove the 15 miles to Dallas. I got to the Trees at about 7:45pm. and was in the first group of 8 people.

BEP took the stage at 11:30pm and performed until 1:30am. Fergie was dressed in white pants, green jacket, white hat with Fergie on the side, orange tee shirt with the word 'VOLCOMF' on it. My best friend arrived shortly before 9:45pm with her sister and their friend. Fergie came out on stage and was again suprized to see me in the front row, and held up three fingers indicating the 3 shows I've attended in the last 5 days.

They performed, Hands Up, "give it up", "falling down", The Boogie that be, "congo", Fly Away, "dancer", "rap", "pass the joint", "say what", Shut Up, Labor Day (It's a Holiday), "Weekend/DJ", Retarded, Hey Mama, Where is the Love, and 3 other songs. During the second to last I got Fergie's atttention and asked if we could talk afterward. She said to meet her byy the bus. My best friend and I waited out side for her, and Apl, Taboo, and Will all came by and talked with us. Black Eyed Peas is all about the fans, and one of the few rare bands that I have found that will walk down the street and act like a normal person. Probably one of the reasons Fergie fits in so good with the group.

While talking to Fergie, she wants to be called just that. So I'll not refer to her as Stacy from here on in on this site. She thanked me for showing up to the 3 rescent shows, and thanked me for the work on this web site. We talked briefly about her solo album, and she said that 'Fly Away' was actually intended to be on her solo album but everyone in BEP was feeling so it became part of Elephunk. The album while no scheduled date for completion will be on Interscope/A&M/Will and unlike previous albums will actually have record label support.

Tons of pictures were taken tonight and hopefully will be up in a few days.

I told Fergie that I'd see her next tuesday in New Orleans as my 4th BEP, and 13 apperance with Fergie will take place at the House of Blues. If anyone in that area is going, let me know.
