BEP La Zona Rosa Austin, TX Here is my ticket for the Austin BEP show.
I drove the 202 miles down to Austin. I got to the La Zona Rosa at 8:30pm. I was the 4th person in line.
About 10 minutes later another 3 people arrived, and then my friend Heaven from San Antonio.
Outside the club was the groups tour bus, with a large trailer behind it. In front of the club was a large blue
SUV with the Elephunk design on the hood and a picture of each of the members on the back of the truck.
The vehicle had New York plates on it.
After the show it was opened up and there were 4 TVs. One on the dash, one in the back seat and 2 in the
back doors playing the video, which is now airing on MTV, and BET.
BEP took the stage at 11:10pm and performed until 12:55am.
They performed almost all the songs off the new album, and several from their previous albums. I noticed that Fergie
had several new piercing and she was wearing a pink tee shirt, and black pants and jacket. The tee shirt had
the word 'VOLCOMF' on it. She had a tennis
hat that was also pink on her head, and her hair was up threw the top of it. The audience seemed to love her and
it was very high energy in the room.
I'm guessing there were close to 500 people there in the club by the time the show ended.
I was in the center of the audience watching till about midnight when I headed to the side that Fergie was
performing on. I passed word threw her uncle and mother that I'd be at this show. When I got a
few feet away from the stage she saw me, and
over the remander of the show leaned out into the audience to clasp my hand 5 or 6 times. The
group did some free style rapping and even Fergie got into it.
At the end she reached out one more time. This would have to be my favorite concert of all time at this point.
I gave her a note telling her I was so glad to see her back on stage, and see that she is doing what she loves, and
that I'd catch her on Tuesday here in Dallas. If your near Dallas on the 1st, make sure you don't miss this show.
In the end I have another 404 miles to add to my trip list.

Fergie really got to show of her talent tonight, and even sang some cover songs with the group, including Lisa Lisa and
Cult Jams, I Want to Take You Home.
In all the times I've seen Fergie perform its been usually 5-6 songs at the max for any event. This time I got to
see her perform probably 15+ songs over a 2 hour period. She always had high energy on stage when I've seen her in the
past, but you could tell that something was different this time. The energy in the room from everyone just made
the show better and better as the night went on.
It all seemed so natural as if she had always been a part of the Black Eyed Peas.
During the radio station interview they talked about Fergie's solo project, and how she got into the BEP's.
