Today I left Corpus Christi Texas at about 8:30am. My 17 year old sister came along as she had never seen them perform, but over the last year her and her friends have really gotten into Wild Orchid. We arrived at 4:30pm and checked in. No sooner had I unpacked the computer and video equipment for the concert than I got a call from Mark with RCA. He said to call him when we got to Six Flags. We left and if any of you have ever been in a city the size of Dallas-Fort Worth you can imagine the traffic at 5pm on a Friday. Shortly after 6:30 we arrived. I gave him a call and my tickets were at the will call booth for me.

Unfortunately no one ever responded back if any one was going to go. I found out later that someone from Houston wanted to go but couldn't get tickets, unfortunately the only way to get them was to get them from the radio station but they claimed to be out yet the concert area was less than 20% full. RCA had given me 2 extras that I didn't need, and I would have loved to seen some other fans there. They arrived on stage at 7:25 and performed 4 songs. "Simon Says", "Just Another Girl", "Its Only Your Love", and of course "Stuttering (Don't Say)". Listening back to them now since the concert I'm definitely enjoying what is going to be on the new album. The funny thing was at the near end of "Stuttering (Don't Say)" the person with the music switched to the next artists music. The girls stopped made a few jokes about it and then tried to get the audience to participate singing acapella. While the audience didn't seem to help the girls finished the song accapella like only Wild Orchid could do.

Immediately afterward I went backstage and we went up to the green room where Wild Orchid was with members of the radio station.
